Sorry for all the questions, i'm online school so i don't really have a teacher :/ Write the slope-intercept equation of the line perpendicular to y = 5/2 x - 2, which passes through the point (0, 2)

OpenStudy (bahrom7893):

y-2=(-2/5)(x-0) Simplify and solve for y

OpenStudy (bahrom7893):

Perpendicular would mean slope is negative inverse

OpenStudy (bahrom7893):

y-2=(-2/5)x

OpenStudy (bahrom7893):

y=(-2/5)x+2

Got it! thanks!

if all your doing is getting answers, then there is no real studying to be had ....
