how do u find the domain and range of a function?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

http://www.purplemath.com/modules/fcns2.htm Besides what Apporvk is about to say, this is also a great help

OpenStudy (apoorvk):

find what constraints are for in the equation for some values x cant take. domain is basically the possible values of x and range the psible values of the function y. so if its y=SQRT(x), you know x cant be negative so domain of x is x>0. and so on!

@ravirizaei what do you mean?? haha :p
