a) y= 1+sin x We know that domain of sin x is all real numbers so the domain of y is also all the real numbers. Now the range of sin x is [-1, 1] so \[y= 1+\sin x\] y's range will be [-1+1, 1+1] or[0, 2] Now the second part is similar to this, Can you solve it?
yes the domain of sin ,cos is R and the range is [1,-1] right?

ok but then the question used transformations on the sin and cos equations , so i think i have to memorize the graph of both of them just to be sure when i use any trans.
