Why when I open the chat bar will it not close? It's so annoying!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hi @kell1170 - can you not minimize it? When it's open, you can click on the title bar, or the ( - ) symbol to minimize it to the bottom

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I just tried that, and neither of those worked. So far, the only thing that works is refreshing the page

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hmm, that is weird. What browser and operating system are you using?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm using Internet Explorer 7 I believe

OpenStudy (nottim):

oohhh. Internet explorer's super inconvenient.

OpenStudy (nottim):

You know my suggestion? Try Google Chrome. It's a little bit of a change, but it's faster and more convenient. I'd say Opera, but that's for Mac, and Mozilla Firefox's OK, but their staff isn't large enough to support a good browser now.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah I'm starting to get a little annoyed with it... I'll try the Google Chrome thing. Thanks!

OpenStudy (nottim):

You'll love it. It's much faster.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, I'll look into this anyways, but I tend to agree with @NotTim - I'm a Chrome man myself ;)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

As I know IE7 is not supported at all for OS so as suggested you should change your browswer to more modern one, if you so love IE you can even use it but you need to update to IE v9 and it should work fine P.S. @NotTim opera is not for mac and you can use it on all popular operating systems

OpenStudy (nottim):

ooh. Well, I never tried opera myself. Sorry. That was Safari was was talking bout right.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah safari is more mac browser but you can use it on windows

OpenStudy (farmdawgnation):

@kell1170 - We don't support IE7. I recommend upgrading to IE9 if you can. Or, ideally, switch to Chrome. :)

OpenStudy (shadowfiend):

@kell1170 Actually, if you're using IE7, you should have gotten a prompt to install Chrome Frame so you can go on using IE7 but get proper support for our site. Switching to Chrome proper is the way to go, of course, but we'll look into whether that aspect is broken. Sorry to hear about your troubles!
