Ishaan, have you tried disabling any extensions you're running and seeing if the problem improves? There have been instances in the past of Chrome extensions not playing nice with performance intensive sites like ours. (I had one such instance, actually.)

And I'm a Safari user. Long story short, something strange is happening here, but we regularly use Safari and Chrome as developers, so if there's an issue with Chrome it's not *likely* (though not impossible) to be an issue directly with our site.

I think it's the extensions, and your site does take lot of memory, farmdawg is probably right.
