simplify your numerator first...it's (x^3 -1)/x^2/(x^4 -1)/x^3 (x-1)(x^2 +x(1) + 1^2)/x^2/(x^2-1)(x^2+1)/x^3 (x-1)(x^2 +x + 1)/x^2/(x+1)(x-1)(x^2+1)/x^3 (x-1)(x^2 +x + 1)/(x+1)(x-1)(x^2+1)/x <- i canceled x (x^2 +x +1)/(x+1)(x^2+1)/x <<<i canceled x-1 so... x(x^2 +x +1)/(x+1)(x^2+1) did you get my explanation? :DDD
