-9<x+5<9 =>-14<x<4 solution: x member to(-14,4)

there are 2 problems since absolute value, positive and negative so write it as -9 < x + 5< 9 and then solve

whenever removing modulus from one half of a equation, add a +- sign to the other half of the equation since the thingy within the mod could have been a positive entity or a negative one.
