What kind of system is the set of equations below? 2x+3y = 6 2x+3y = 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

solution set = empty set (no solution)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh i misunderstood. the two equations are linear systems. these two line don't intersect though (and they are not the same line) so there is no solution that satisfies both of them.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so their are no solutions correcrt?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no solutions, yep
