ANNOUNCEMENT: This study group is for studying ONLY. Those who exchange email addresses, and whole assignments, will be banned from OpenStudy, and MITx will be contacted (we are partnered with them). Please be aware of this in your interactions - but please continue to discuss problems and exchange ideas - only the wholesale exchange of assignments is prohibited (as noted in the MITx Academic Terms). Thank you for your understanding of this issue.
thank you for your Reminder! :)
i just wanted to say the same thing!!! we are here together to learn some thing not to cheat!! cshalvey im agree with U... ;)
Sounds good, if you want to work together, and learn - no problem from me. If you want to hand out solutions to each other, then there's a problem. If you see this kind of behavior, please report it immediately, thank you.
I believe guidance can be provided but no answers at all, besides that very same thing is in the rules of conduit for MITx... I may suggest that if you are stuck you can check the MIT Opencourseware, plenty of quizes, help and video there too cheers to you all
Totally agree @VenomGhost - and thank you. We're here to offer a place for people to work together and help each other, not just hand out solutions.
The guidelines actually encourage students to collaborate on homework. However, it is near imposible to find a way to have someone review your solution and give you tips without giving away the answers to the entire web. I'm not looking to cheat, but I am looking to have someone point out flaws in my thinking before it's exam time. Any thoughts?
agree with thedug, explainging a procedure to obtain a solution is not the same as cheating.
thanks for the reminder cshalvey, it will help us remember
totally agree. Although once I did someone's homework.
