There aren't really "bad" and "good" features of the human genome project - what each person thinks is bad and good differs.

The HGP isn't a physics subject, but one drawback - or rather, complication - would be that it opens the door to potential ethics abuses like genetic discrimination. For example, it's possible that employers would be less likely to hire people who are genetically predisposed to certain illnesses and would be more likely to get sick.

I think you'd probably get better answers to biology questions if you posted them in the biology group. ;D
