A solid cylinder of radius 5cm is rolling at a linear speed of 6cm/s on a flat surface when it comes to a slope which is inclined at an angle of 30°. What distance does the cylinder roll up the slope before rolling down again? You can neglect any dissipation of energy through friction and assume that there is no sliding. How do i go about solving this?

I thought maybe i should calculate the kinetic rotational energy but i need to find the inertia and i don't have mass...
no dissipation of energy so energy is conserved. as it slows down, it loses kinetic energy and gains potential energy. set up the equation this way, mass should cancel.
Thanks a lot! Seems so clear now, don't know how i missed that.
