(x+1)^3 +7=4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x^3 + 3x^2 + 3x = -4 I got something like that. Does it look familiar?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats the same thing as (x+1)(x+1)(x+1) + 7 = 4 so just multiply all that out and factor if possible

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It can reduce to x(x^2+3x+3) = -4 But I don't really remember where to go from there

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that trinomial isnt factorable, youll have to plug that mess into the quadratic formula.
