Solve for x: 2-ln x = 2x^(3/2) This is where I got stuck 2 = 2x^(3/2) + ln x 2-2x^(3/2) = ln x e^(2-2x^(3/2))=x

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

there isn't a way to isolate x algebraically but you can solve it numerically http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=2-ln%28x%29+%3D+2x^%283%2F2%29
