Evaluate the following and/or simplify: ((34x^3y^6/17x^6y^3)^4)

sam (.sam.):

((34x^(3)y^(6))/(17x^(6)y^(3)))^(4) Reduce the expression (34x^(3)y^(6))/(17x^(6)y^(3)) by removing a factor of 17x^(3)y^(3) from the numerator and denominator. ((2y^(3))/(x^(3)))^(4) (2^(4)y^(12))/(x^(3*4)) (2^(4)y^(12))/(x^(12)) Raising a number to the 4th power is the same as multiplying the number by itself 4 times. In this case, 2 raised to the 4th power is 16. (16y^(12))/(x^(12))
