how do I determine 7 tan 54?

Directrix (directrix):

7 tan 54 = 7 times tangent of 54 degrees = 7 times 1.376= 9.635. You can crank it out on your calculator. Or, enter "7 times tangent of 54 degrees" in the Google search box and the Google calculator will show the result.

scientific calculator is a good way to start...

Thank you both, I have a scientific calculator but the instructions were not clear on how to work some f the functions. Thanks again!

Directrix (directrix):

If your scientific calculator is like mine, its default mode is degrees. But to get tangent of an angle, you have to enter the angle first and then punch "tan."

Thanks again, I think I think I figured that out, now how do you find the value of cos and tan for ABC?
