In the graph shown, there is a shaded region above the line x+y = 1, so we have x + y > 1 There is also a shaded region below the line 2x+y = 4. So we have the second inequality 2x+y < 4 So the answer is choice D

Why can't it be A? Is the green part the solution or yellow one?

I'm assuming it's the green part as it's a darker shading.
