Can anyone help? What is the formula? I have 6 teaspoons of salt, each teaspoon of salt weighs about 5g and contains 2300 mg of sodium. How to I determine the amount of sodium that has been actually added in grams?

OpenStudy (apoorvk):

okay: now, 1 gram = 1000 miligrams think you can convert that now?? and, total weight of sodium added=(no.of spoons added)x(weight of sodium in each spoon) calculate and enjoy!

Do I take 6tsp x 2300mg and get 13.8g were added?
