LCD of (x-4)(x+4)(x+2)
\[(x-4)(x+4)(x-2)\frac{x-4}{(x-4)(x+2)}-(x-4)(x+4)(x+2)\frac{x-2}{(x-4)(x+4)}\]
\[\frac{(x-4)(x+4)-(x-2)(x+2)}{(x-4)(x+4)(x+2)}\]
\[\frac{x^2-16-x^2+4}{(x-4)(x+4)(x+2)}=\frac{-12}{(x-4)(x+4)(x+2)}\]
