Also, just to add more info to the answer: It can't be A, because glasost specifically wanted more openness amongst its workers as well as the world. It also can't be B, because the Soviet Union had no intention of inflaming tensions over Korea. It also can't be C, because they already fought that battle in WW2 in the 40s. Gorbachev came to power almost more than forty years later and Germany was still split into East and West.
