I usually study for tests or exams by reading over as much as I can about the subject (e.g. in a text book or, even better, in the material provided by my instructor or professor), and then if I have to memorise anything, like scientific terms or definitions, I use a cue card program to quiz myself.

Do you have a text book? There will probably be very helpful diagrams in it of plant and animal cells and descriptions of what the different parts do.

If you have vocab. use flash cards to study the definitions. If its multiply choice use context clues and underline the main words like "red blood cells". Hopefully you will do great :D
