y = (x+5)^2, You simple need to remember that adding inside with the function x^2, moves it to the left while subtracting moves the graph to the right. DONT confuse this with x^2-2 or x^2+2, these shift the graph up or down, (subtracting shifts down, adding shifts up) Check out drawing!!
