in diff eq if the initial conditions are with some appropriate numbers then it's called initial value problem but when it's not with an appropriate number then is it just an initial condition? can someone please give me example?

ive heard of initial value problems, and boundary value problems

initial value problems are of the form:

y(0) = 2
y'(0) = 0
y''(0) = 1

boundary value problems can take a few different forms such that you are looking for something assiciated at differeing values of x
