Show work: Mike has 10 1/2 acres to plant vegetables on his farm. He uses 2/5 of the acres for growing corn. How many acres does mike use to plant corn?

2/5= 0.4, so multiply 0.4 to 10.5----> you get 4.2; this means Mike used 4.2 acres to plant corn. :)
