write the slope of a line that is parallel to,and perpandicular to, the given line y=4/3x -1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

parallel means it has the same number before the x . and perpendicualr is opposite recipricol. so y=4/3x+7 is parallel and perpendicular would be y=-3/4-9

OpenStudy (chriss):

parallel slope is 4/3 perpendicular slope is -3/4
