so when your on the unit circle tryin to find like -4pi/3, do you go the opposite way as you usually do on the unit circle so it changes direction or do you still just go to the 4pi/3?

yes a negative angle means you are going the opposite way (clock-wise) easy way to change it to the equivalent positive angle is to add 2pi --> -4pi/3 +2pi = 2pi/3
