how does direct, inverse, and joint variation used in everyday

OpenStudy (experimentx):

let us suppose, you are working someplace 5 hrs a day. and to finish work you must work 5 days to finish 1 work. the more you work in a day, the more work you can finish ... if you work 10 hrs day, you will finish 2 work in 5 days, this is direct variation. let let's suppose you work 10 hrs a day but do only 1 work, then you certainly have to work less than 5 days, ... most likely 2.5 days, ... now this is inverse variation. imagine if you work 10 hrs a day and 10 days ... how much can you accomplish ... this is joint variation
