Do you mean these are counter current mechanisms?
*The sphincter urethrae, or urethral sphincter, controlling the exit of urine from the body.

*At the anus, there are two sphincters which control the exit of feces from the body (see internal anal sphincter and external anal sphincter). The inner sphincter is involuntary and the outer is voluntary.

Between the glomerulus and the descending helnes loop (where all the H2O is absorbed in this picture) there is a region called called proximal tubuli. this region stands for 70% of the reuptake in the nephrone.
Now back to the descending helnes loop, at the descending part only H2O is reabsorbed by Aquaporin-2 channels which are ADH mediated, in the ascending part there are diffrent type of pumps Na-K-Cl cotransporter, which transports the electrolyte back to the bloodstream.
Answer to the question of the high osmotic preasure in Descending helnes part region and Ascending part of helnes loop. is due to it's connected with a Vasa recta which creates a osmotic gradient between the two.

We can breath with our mouth aswell, the diffrence would be that the we would loose the primary filter of our respiratory tract since we're bypassing it. But ultimately any opening connected to trachea would suffice to breath. Take into example the procedure you need to do incase someone is suffucating due to a blockage in the trachea, i think it's called Tracheostomy but im not sure.

We breath through out nose instictively aswell as there are numoures benefits to breathing through the nose, breathing from our nose requires much less effort, aswell as our mouth would be dehydrated if we kept which itself has numoures of complication by itself. I've heard this claim before in a lecture i attended, but honestly. I don't know if it's due to the fact of squamous epithelium, i don't remember my cellmorphology that well, perhaps if this squamous epithelium is able to produce a substantial amount of mucosa & nose hair. If so it's true.

Ah, im going to speculate upon this i don't think there is a direct science behind it imagion the following scenario, you're sitting with a couple of friends remembering a actor you all know whom you're talking about but can't remember his/her name. this is a form of concentrated thinking when your brain tries to narrow down the search to a fraction of your brain where it believes the knowlegde lies, this process is supposed to help you make snabb decissions and remembering things quickly. but in this case it has narrowed it down outside of the relevant region, therefore none of you can think of it. it requires a third person to remember it who doesn't have this "tunnelmemory"(yes i just made that up). inorder to remember it since he could spontaniously access it. same thing applies to associations you make, sometimes you need to learn something or hear something which makes a association between neurons which previously was routed around. You know a subject you can easily grasp what's around it, let's say Krebs cycle for instance. but if you add another component your brain might make associations which would connect it to a completely diffrent process which was believed to be unrelated untill someone gave you an idea (you made an association).

Like when people invent things, sitting alone in the dark trying to invent something would almost never work, you need to be subjugated to new knowlegde or perspective to have a creative idea most of the time.

These are mere speculations back up with very sparse bits of science. so treat it like an opinion.
