Use the substitution method to solve the system of equations. Choose the correct ordered pair. 2x + y = 3 3x + 2y = 7

OpenStudy (apoorvk):

rearrange the first equation to write y in terms of x. y= 3-2x now 'substitute' the value of y from above in equation 2. you ll get a simple equation in 'x' which you can solve to get the value of x. now, feed the value of x in any any equation to get the value of y as well.
