Need help for shell scripts i.e.
Device a scripts that accepts two directions named A1 and A2 , and deletes those files in A2 which are identical to their namesake in A1?Plzz help me out

don't know, it is my assignment . And i know nothing about shell programming

There are some decent programming guides out there. Look into bash, and the for... in loop in particular. Something like for filename in `ls A1`... should be a good start. Nest two of those loops, check for equality, run an rm when you find a match.
