A truck transports 8 cars to an auto dealership. Each car has a gasoline tank capacity of 64 liters. What is the total gasoline tank capacity of all of the cars in hectoliters?

So the eight cars that each have a 64 liter gas capacity of 512 liters! There is your answer.
\[8\times64=512\] One hectoliter is 100 liters, so the answer is \[512\div100\] which is 5.12 hectoliters.
