Recently i saw dropbox.com where it provides data storage to all the individuals making it available in all your computer and also in the internet. On which basis they are providing this space? if we allocate like this it will take many more zetabytes..?? how can they do this? any idea about this?

They can do this in part because storage is incredibly incredibly cheap. Hard disk storage now costs ~7¢ per GB.
