During the Reformation, who was Martin Luther? A German monk and professor at the University of Wittenberg who nailed his Ninety-five Theses (or "beliefs") to the door of the Wittenberg Cathedral. An American Civil Rights leader who wrote the “I Have a Dream” speech. An artist of the northern Renaissance who specialized in painting portraits. The Pope who opposed the formation of the Protestant Church.

Hi Shanlee The first one is correct - he was a German monk and professor who was excommunicated during the Protestant Reformation because he refused to retract his religious writings (95 thesis) at the demand of the Pope. Hope this helps.
