If 8 men takes 2 days to lay 100 ft, 8 men laid 50ft in 1 day. That means each man laid 6.25ft each day. Now, there are 3 men, doing 6.25ft each man per day, and the job requires 150ft. How long will it take? Tip 1: Total Days = [amount needed to be laid] / [amount laid by 3 men] Tip 2: 150 / [3(6.25)] Tip 3: Answer- 8 days
