how do you solve a linear inequality using elimination?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

by eliminating one of the variables; the symbol used for equality doesnt really effect things, it just tells you how the equation behaves

OpenStudy (amistre64):

y>3 -y>-5x -------- 0> 3-5x 5x > 3 x > 3/5|dw:1332978389983:dw| this is what im thinking of at least

OpenStudy (amistre64):

you might be able to work with the "equality" stuff and then play about with the graphs so they make sense for the inequalities
