he cartesian equation of the circle C is x^2 + y^2 -8x - 6y +16 = 0 a) Find the coordinates of the centre of C and the radius of C. i got (x-4)^2 + (y-3)^2 = 3^2 centre of C (4,3) radius = 3 b) Sketch C. i did this as well c) Find in parametric equations for C (im stuck on) d) Find, in cartesian form, an equation for each tangent to C which passes through the origin O. (Im stuck on)

well, if its 3 up from the x axis and its radius is 3; then one of its tangents IS the x axis

OpenStudy (amistre64):

|dw:1332979403205:dw| 3+5 = 8 up and 4 is just 4 over so our slope is 8/4 = 2 y = 2x is the other tangent line
