Which set of ordered pairs is a function? (1,2) (3,4) (5,6) (3,-4) (8,4) (4,3) (2,2) (8,1) (2,5) (3,10) (4,15) (5,20) (2,4) (2,3) (2,1) (2,0)

i think the third option is the answer, for their is a direct variation and relation between the domain and range, and that is, " as the value of the domain increases by 1 the value also of the range increases by 5. . .

A function is a correspondence between two sets (domain and range) such that for every element in the domain, there is exactly one corresponding element in the range. Said less formally, every x has exactly one value of y. In the first relation, x=3 corresponds to both 4 and -4, so not a function. Similarly, the second one has x=8 with four and one. The fourth answer has x=2 lined up with four different values of y. The function is the third one; every value of x has exactly one value of y.
