How do i solve -x+2x+15=0 using factoring or graphing?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hint: Use 5 and 3 for 2x.

OpenStudy (experimentx):

first simplify it, x+15 = 0, or x = -15, i don't see anything to factor or graph
