The sum of the measures of the angles of a quadrilateral is 360°. Two of the angles are right angles. One of the remaining two angles is twice the measure of the other. What is the measure of the smallest angle in the quadrilateral? What is the measure of the largest angle? this was my answer: So 2 angles are right angles which together = 180 so there is now 180 left from the 360 One of the remaining angles is twice the size of the other, so x + 2x = 180 3x = 180 x = 60 so one angle = 60 , the other angle = 120 but my teacher says it needs units? UNITS?

so i should put it by the numbers?

OpenStudy (savvy):

it's just the sign of degrees that is required...else it could be misinterpreted as radians...
