sin(60) = 12/x => x= 12/sin(60)

You can use trigonometry for this. sin(60) = PS / RP PS is given as 12 in so RP = 12 / sin(60) = 13.9 in

Don't bother with sin, cos and tan for this stuff, it's a waste of time...just look up the relationships for special triangles. search 30-60-90 and 45-45-90...

Nah, cause they aren't always gonna give you those angles so you needa know how to use sin/cos/tan etc
