Which of the following types of polygons do not exist? (i) Parallelograms with right angles (ii) Kites with all obtuse angles (iii) Trapezoids with all acute angles A) (i) and (ii) only B) (i) and (iii) only C) (ii) and (iii) only D) (i), (ii), and (iii)

OpenStudy (mertsj):

D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

please explain

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Parallelograms with right angles would be rectangles or squares. Kites with all obtuse angles would have total angle sum more than 360. Trapezoids with all acute angles would have total angle sum less than 360 and all convex quadrilaterals have angle sum of 360

OpenStudy (anonymous):

C is the answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Rectangles are parallelograms.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Kites will all obtuse angles are impossible because then all four angles add up to more than 360 degrees, which is impossible for a quadrilateral. Trapezoids with all acute angles are impossible because then all four angles add up to less than 360 degrees, which is impossible for a quadrilateral.

i am confused. two different opinions

OpenStudy (mertsj):

What class are you taking?

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Hard to clear up you confusion when you won't answer me.
