can anybody explain about flight envelopes (aerodynamics)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

flight envelope of an aircraft refers to the design limits of the craft. These specifications are found in the aircraft's TCDS (type certificate data sheet) which is produced by the manufacturer of the craft. In this document are the Vne (velocity never exceed). Min. stall speed, max. climb rate, max turn bank angle, etc. The TCDS of some aircraft can be dozens of pages long. The term flight envelope is usually referred to by pilots as a general term simply meaning that the craft was being flown outside its specified design limits. This is obviously not recommended. It is sometimes called performance envelope, as well.
