may be it might be adultrated nullifying or reducing the basicity of the tablet

u need an ant-acid which neutralises the effect of acid====>it is a base
so cheaper ones may use some random material instaed of apure base

Compare the labels. If they have the exact same active ingredients in the exact same amounts, i always go with the cheaper version. There's no point in paying a lot more for a name when the chemical composition is the same.
