Archduke Franz Ferdinand is indeed correct. He was the heir for the throne of Austria-Hungary, and was assassinated by a Serbian group called the black hand. Austria-Hungary then attacked Serbia, who was allied with Russia. Germany then backs Austria-Hungary, UK and France back Russia, and you have WW1!
