I couldn't necessarily find a better group for this but could someone explain to me how overall entropy in the universe is increasing? As far as i'm aware the universe is an open universe and will continually expand forever and slowly cool down, approaching a generally uniform state. How does a uniform state and a close to constant temperature everywhere equal an increase in entropy?
