Since 15x-20 and 35x are supplementary angles, you add the two to equal 180 degrees. Like so: 1.) 15x-20 + 35x = 180 (Add 15x & 35x...=50x) 2.) 50x - 20 = 180 (Add 20 to both sides...eliminates -20 on left and =200 on right) 3.) 50x = 200 (200 divided by 50 = 4) 4.) x = 4 (That's your answer! :D)
