Best language to learn first, which should be simple, and mother of other languages.

In my opinion any general purpose language would fit the bill. Basically once you have mastered a language and developed the skill set of programming it is relatively easy to hop over to another language.

Although, it's more or less not considered a language(s) by programmers, I would suggest HTML/CSS/JavaScript; in that order. Simple and a good indicator of whether or not you would like to pursue this career path. And to answer your last question, C/C++... Unless you're requesting an abacus!
