jessylcook, you should always explain concepts, not simply hand out answers. As it turns out, this answer is incorrect. Grammatically, this sentences seems to say I sold more tickets than I sold him.

With that in mind, any speculations now as to what might be the correct answer, and why? (Hint: you might think in terms of that elliptical clause mentioned in the original question.)

And KAYLYNROCKS, rather than simply posting homework, quiz, or test questions, you should post what it is that you do not understand about a given question, so someone here can help you to grasp the concepts underlying a particular question.
