I'm assuming you know the basic math dealing with circles. Wrote it in java so you have to solve it yourself, but any problems you had should be solved. Didn't keep many comments, but I made sure to explain how to input the equation. The multidimensional array "pointsToTest" is simply a list of two-tuples to plug into the function I wrote and see what it spits out.
