"Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.” What does the mentioned quote make you think what do you perceive about it
I see this as; People don't take opportunities when they come around because it involves work and dedication to complete it. Just an ex-stoner's opinion :)
That is a nice opinion, what do you think is this good that they go for the easier work or should they be dedicated and go for the harder jobs.
Definitely go for the harder jobs. More rewarding; more things come out of it and there is less you have to do in the end. Trying to make up everything with more things on-top of it ends up to be very stressful at times.
Why do you think that people wont go for the harder job, using your experience and the quote?
Harder jobs take more time and effort than the easier jobs and provide less of an instantaneous result than the easier jobs usually. People look for the 'now' rather than the 'later'.
Anyone Else i want to see opinions of a couple of people @Cjcj58585 , Your help is Greatly greatly appreciated
cj pretty much took it all :P hahaha
Cmon lgba you can do better :P
Kayy why dont you put the same quote in different words for me?
fine...i'll paraphrase..people get intimidated by some of the best opportunity because of how they look. work becomes a metaphor for something we fear.
Great quote. I take it to mean this: people often expect opportunity to be handed to them on a plate. It's not something they think of as having to work for. The fact that the quote is funny, rather than moralistic, makes that truth easier to accept. Kinda like, "everybody wants to go to heaven, but nobody wants to die."
Also a good answer from a different POV ^
Thanks for the answers guys
I couldnt put my thoughts into words
Sometimes opportunity isn't an open door. It's a locked window you have to pry open. :)
Nicely put!
