(1/2 = fraction. just so you know.)

1/2x + 1/2x -5 - 10 = 15
x( 1/2 +1/2) -(5+10) = 15
x - 15 = 15

x=x/2=20
2x/2=20
2x=40
x/2=40/2
x=20
